*Don Lyons, President

Don Lyons received a Degree in Finance from UTA with a major in Portfolio and Security Analysis, while minoring in Economics. As an Ameritas Investment Company, LLC Securities Representative for 30 years, Don works extensively with both individuals and business owners. He has a Series 6, 7 and 63 and is an IAR and RIA through Ameritas Investment Corp. Don has also achieved a higher level of accountability by becoming a 3(21) Fiduciary.

As a portfolio manager, Don creates individualized and customized portfolios to meet the objectives of his clients. Don’s practice also provides extensive financial and retirement planning utilizing Financial Profiles & NaviPlan to create a personalized analysis, asset allocation and an overall plan moving forward.


 

Brent Matthews, Benefits Consultant

Brent Matthews is a Co-Developer of the Benefits Navigator, a strategy to implement long term cost controls for benefit plans. His unique style of customer advocacy has helped hundreds of organizations save time and money. He is also in the Strategic Coach (Masters Program) as a 9 year participant in this unique process that develops entrepreneurs to their fullest potential. Brent’s strong commitment to his industry is evidenced in his distinguished membership with National Association of Underwriters (NAHU), and Christ Chapel. He is also actively engaged in professional coaching programs and is a member of United Benefits Advisors Group.

Brent feels the biggest error people make in benefit planning for the future is that, “people don’t share their vision for their own company with their brokers. We feel people should partner with a benefits consulting firm that will develop a strategic plan to accomplish the goals of the company.”


Jean Starkey, Executive Assistant

As Assistant to Don Lyons for 20 years, Jean continues to enjoy working to provide clients quality service. She has a BA from UTA.

Organization is Jean’s number one tool that she brings to the table. Being organized allows her to bring the level of detail needed to support Don and is constantly growing and learning so that the she and Don are current with the industry trends and clients’ needs.
